About the Job

We're seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team and lead the development of user interfaces for our AI agents. This role is crucial in translating complex AI and blockchain interactions into user-friendly, intuitive interfaces. You'll work closely with our product design lead and engineering team to bring our agents to life in a way that's both visually appealing and highly functional.

This critical role involves establishing the frontend architecture from scratch, selecting appropriate technologies and frameworks to best meet our needs for performance and usability. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the frontend to deliver a seamless and intuitive user experience. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with backend teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient interplay between frontend and backend components. Your expertise will guide the direction of our frontend development practices and decisions, setting a high standard for future team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Implementation and Optimization: Implement the frontend components of our application, focusing on creating a seamless and intuitive user interface. Optimize web performance to ensure a responsive and efficient user experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers and produt designer to ensure a seamless integration between frontend, backend and design components. Ensure that communication and data exchange are optimized for performance and scalability.
- Standards and Best Practices: Set high standards and best practices for frontend development within the organization. Guide the direction of frontend technologies and architecture decisions, influencing overall product quality and performance.
- UI Library: Develop reusable UI components and libraries to ensure consistency across our agent interfaces.

Required Qualifications

- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with React and NextJS for developing web applications.
- Experience with build tools and dependency management (Webpack, npm, Yarn).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous requests.
- Understanding of basic blockchain technologies and smart contracts.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Experience in web3 is a ++
- Comfortable with Figma is a +
- Knowledge in React Native is a + (in case we have mobile-first agents in the future)
- Knowledge in Swift is a + (in case we have mobile-first agents in the future)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on DeFi or blockchain-related projects
- Familiarity with Web3 technologies and libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js)
- Understanding of AI concepts and experience in visualizing AI-related data
- Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
- Knowledge of TypeScript and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for front-end applications
