THE ROLE

We are scouring the depths of the metaverse in search of the most active, professional, blockchain technology-loving, trend-tracking and news-hound of a social media manager to help DLTx expand its brand awareness and elevate its public profile.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating original content, keeping up with trends, managing posts, responding to followers and growing DLTx’s community.

As DLTx builds and scales open-source networks such as Filecoin and Bitcoin, you will be responsible for strategically fostering our social media relationships and brand presence within those greater ecosystems.

Note1: Previous professional experience in the crypto/blockchain industry is a MUST. Experience working for a publicly traded company is an extra plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

- Actively follow crypto Twitter, find threads and topics to engage with

- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)

- Work with the CMO to set specific objectives and report on them routinely

- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)

- Suggest and implement new features, promotions, campaigns based on social listening and social sentiment

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends on social media, design tools and applications

- Collaborate with other teams like sales and investor relations to ensure brand consistency and support the company’s goals as a whole


REQUIREMENTS

- Work directly with the CMO

- Proactive and resourceful

- Previous professional experience in the crypto/blockchain industry is required

- Proven work experience as a social media manager, scaling communities, at least 3 years total

- Hands-on experience producing content for channels like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and more

- Excellent copywriting skills

- Deep working knowledge of established and emerging social media channels

- Excellent internal communication skills, preferably in a remote environment

- Excellent organizational skills

- Data-informed & metrics-driven, but also know when to go-with-your-gut to capitalize on emerging platforms and social trends

- Resourceful and proactive, always looking to do more

- Positive, friendly and helpful attitude is a must
