About the Job

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement and manage the social media strategy for Ocean Protocol
- Create and oversee social media content across various platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium, reddit and more
- Manage day-to-day social media operations, including scheduling posts, monitoring conversations, and responding to comments and messages
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Product Development teams to maintain consistent messaging and branding
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and community discussions to inform our social media strategies
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure the impact of our campaigns and initiatives
- Cultivate and engage with our online community, foster discussions, and amplify user-generated content
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Plan and execute innovative social media campaigns to drive engagement and awareness within the blockchain and tech community

REQUIREMENTS
- Crypto native, knowledge of Web3 space - Experience in DeFi communication is a plus, and the candidates showcasing a strong portfolio in this field will be preferred
- 4+ years professional experience in content creation with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content in the tech or blockchain space
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, trends, and best practices for audience engagement
- Great communicator with native-level English written and verbal skills
- You have experience developing a style and voice that fits the crypto audience
- Ability to think strategically with regard to content, messaging, strategy, narrative and storytelling
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies for optimal results
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently, strong initiative, can-do attitude and receptive to learning new skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content in the tech or blockchain space
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
