Aleph.im is a decentralized cloud infrastructure company that helps web3 developers fully decentralize their stacks from the ground up. We are working on groundbreaking, world first tech that pushes the boundaries of what's currently possible.

We believe in a future that is fully decentralized, where the individual has more control over their data without intermediaries or giant, centralized companies harvesting your data and using it against you. As such, we're looking for someone who passionately shares this vision.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a programming background, in-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and the ability to take complex, in-depth technical details and make it simple and easy to follow for any reader, regardless of their technical knowledge. An excellent communicator, both written and verbally, is a must!

This role will offer a lot of autonomy and the ability to fully build out processes that make product releases and updates much more streamline, and you will have a major part to play here. We're looking for someone who can work cohesively with others whilst also having the ability to work independently and pioneering new processes and best practices.

Objectives of this Role

- Develop comprehensive documentation that meets Aleph.im standards
- Obtain a deep understanding of Aleph.im products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
- Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with the engineering and marketing departments respectively
- Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Work with marketing and engineering to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and storage
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational and legal standards, and allow for easy data migration
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field preferred
- 2-4 years’ industry experience as an effective technical writer
- 1+ year crypto experience preferred
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
- Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences with high technical fidelity
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content

Preferred Qualifications

- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
- Previous software development experience
- Dev relations experience
